116 bikes and a boat engine were discovered in a container at allotments in south County Dublin on December 26th 2019.
45 year old Dinas Bimbiras, a Lithuanian national living at Maple Drive, Drumgola Wood, Cavan, was arrested on Saturday after investigating gardai received directions from the Director of Public Prosecutions
He was charged with possessing the items discovered in the container and also accused of being in possession of stolen power tools at his home in August last year.
Garda David Dolan told Judge Treasa Kelly that the man "had no reply" when charged with the offences.
The DPP has directed trial on indictment, meaning the case will go forward to the circuit court which has tougher sentencing powers.
