Local businesses react to announcement of Level Four restrictions

Businesses right across Cavan and Monaghan have been waking to the announcement and realisation that from midnight tonight, all non-essential retail, gyms and hairdressers will be closed until November 10^th.

Hairdressers and barbers were perhaps the busiest today, as people looked to get a final trim before Level Four comes into effect.

People in Monaghan town spoke about understanding the reason behind the increased measures, but with some frustration that they had to be implemented.
