Both Cavan and Monaghan County Councils have held their first online monthly meetings today.
Councillors met for the first time today via video call due to the pandemic.
Meetings had been held with social distancing in the Garage Theatre in Monaghan and the Cavan Leisure Centre or Hotel Kilmore.

However, meetings moved online after the reintroduction of the level five restrictions.
A change in national legislation was needed last year to allow County Council meetings to take place remotely.
