Local emergency services in Monaghan carried out a rescue operation at an industrial premises this afternoon.
At approximately 3.40pm today the Monaghan Fire Service were called to the scene of an incident in the Killycard Industrial Park in Castleblayney to assist ambulance staff rescue a patient.
A man was transferred from the roof of a unit in the park to the air ambulance, and was brought to hospital.

Th patients's condition is unknown, and no one else was involved in the incident.
The HSA have been contacted by Northern Sound for further information or comment.
