Local infectious diseases expert Sam McConkey is urging caution when it comes to the ease of restrictions.
Despite the incidence rate dropping in most of the electoral areas in the Northern Sound region, except Ballyjamesduff, the national daily decrease has slowed.
Similarly the five local electoral areas in the Shannonside region have Covid-19 incidence rates that are over twice the national average.
