The Green Party has been warned not to see the draft programme for government “through rose tinted glasses”.
Cavan-Monaghan representative Tate Donnelly has issued a strong condemnation of the deal and said he’s voting against it.
In a video on social media he said the economic policies are too similar to those in 2011 and would see a return to austerity.

He said he promised voters in February that he would not support policies that would see them left worse off and the agreed plan for the carbon tax would “put people into poverty”.
Speaking to Northern Sound earlier this week Tate Donnelly said he was unsure if he would support the agreement but wanted to hear from other party members before making up his mind.
The Green Party held an eight hour online conference yesterday.
