A man has appeared in Court after being caught burgling a house in Cavan town.
Gardai were alerted to the scene around 1am on Friday.
When they arrived at the house they found it was forcibly entered and a man in his 20s inside.

He was arrested and taken to Cavan Garda Station where he was charged with burglary and later was brought before the Courts.
