Between 6 and 6.30pm yesterday a white Peugeot Partner Van was taken from the Mullaghmatt area of Monaghan Town.
Gardaí were appealing for information on its whereabouts, and it was later located in Dundalk.

A man was arrested and taken to Castleblayney Garda Station where he is currently being held.
The car is due to undergo an examination before being returned to the owner but there was no damage or injuries reported.
The man can be held for up to 12 hours.
