A man has been arrested following the seizure of cash and drugs in Monaghan Town.
The search was carried out under warrant by members of the Detective Branch and members of Monaghan Garda Station at 8pm on Thursday in Mullaghmatt.
Almost €6,000 in cash was seized and a quantity of cannabis, including drug paraphernalia.

A man in his mid-30s was arrested and detained at Monaghan Garda Station where he was charged.
He has since been released pending a court appearance.
