A man is due before the courts in Louth in connection to an armed robbery.
It happened at a shop on the Carrickmacross Road in Dundalk yesterday morning when a person entered with a hammer.
They threatened staff and left on foot with cash.

Following investigations a man and a woman - both aged in their 20s - were arrested.
The woman has since been released without charge, while the man has been charged and will be brought before Dundalk District Court this morning.
