Man remanded on bail after break in at Northern Sound's offices

A man has been remanded on bail after a break in at the Northern Sound offices overnight.

The incident took place at around 2.30am in the Milltown Business Park in Monaghan.

Nothing was taken in this incident but windows were broken.

43 year old Gary Morgan of 89 Mullaghmatt, Monaghan town was arrested at the scene last night.

He was taken to Monaghan Garda Station for questioning and was later charged.

He appeared before a special sitting of Monaghan District Court this afternoon where Judge Denis McLoughlin remanded him on bail, subject to a number of conditions.

Mr Morgan will appear before the District Court again on January 11th.
