Matt Carthy says it is 'scandalous' for any TD to accept a pay increase when the PUP has been reduced.
The Cavan Monaghan TD has criticised the lack of social solidarity being shown by Government recently, stating that the public health message needs to be one of togetherness.
Deputy Carthy has also rejected the suggestion of a herd immunity approach to tackling the virus saying that he wouldn't support a move that would inevitably allow people to die.
