Deputy McGrath yesterday compared the requirement to display a digital Covid cert to dine indoors to measures taken in early Nazi Germany.
This drew criticism, including from the Twitter account representing the Auschwitz Memorial.

On Twitter the Auschwitz Memorial account said the comments were a "sad symptom of moral and intellectual decline" and sent Deputy McGrath a free online course about the holocaust.
But Deputy Healy-Rae says the comments were misrepresented:
