McDonald's has announced it's creating 800 new jobs across the country.
The fast food chain says the positions will be in its restaurants in 19 counties.
Cavan and Monaghan are two of the counties that have been selected by the company to offer jobs in their restaurants.
McDonald's say the roles are being created due to staff capacity increasing in the coming months with the easing of Covid restrictions.
It will bring its workforce in Ireland to over 3,000 employees.
Tánaiste Leo Varadkar has welcomed the news of the creation of 800 jobs by McDonalds, "Today's announcement of 800 new jobs by McDonald's is a welcome boost, demonstrating the company's continued commitment to Ireland, where it already has a strong employment presence throughout the country. As Ireland continues on the path to a full reopening, it is extremely positive news to see companies such as McDonald's planning for expansion and growing its workforce.”
