There's a change of pace for Monaghan Motor Club this weekend as members take part in a community litter-pick.
Ongoing Covid-19 restrictions means it's been over a year since the club last held an in-person sporting event.
However, in keeping with the strong volunteer spirit of the club, regular competitors, marshals and volunteers are encouraged to wear their hi-viz over the coming days and clean up their local roads in line with public health advice.

It's the latest community-based litter-pick organised in Cavan and Monaghan, with local groups across the region doing their bit to protect the local environment.
Monaghan Motor Club Chairman Conor Maguire says he's hoping for strong support.
