We're being urged to be responsible when using bottle banks.
Monaghan County Council says it's seeing "Christmas levels of activity" at its bottle banks across the county in recent weeks.
Niall O'Connor from the local authority's Environment Section has warned people to use them responsibly and take home any bags or boxes.

He says CCTV is in operation at some bottle banks and people will be fined if they're found to have left rubbish behind.
