A Monaghan GP is urging people to be aware of Covid symptoms even if they are vaccinated.
Dr Illona Duffy says that based on UK figures, there is growing confidence that we could soon see virus cases peak and fall.
Yesterday the Department of Health reported a further 1,522 new cases of the virus, with Dr Ronan Glynn saying the incidence rate in County Monaghan is of particular concern.
