A Monaghan restaurateur says he's seen a surge in demand for his pizza service that allows "wet pubs" open.

Currently, only pubs which serve food are allowed open, with more "wet pubs" looking to provide substantial meals as an interim measure until they are allowed to serve alcohol only.

He said the Glaslough company is constantly expanding to meet the demand for their product.
Jeremy told Shannonside Northern Sound that local publicans are frustrated with the current restrictions.
