Monaghan students encourage others to cycle and walk more

Students at a Monaghan town school have been encouraging others to get on their bike.

The theme of this year's EU Mobility Week event was active travel, where people could use walking or cycling for everyday journeys and keep the car at home.

EU Mobility Week coincided with Bike Week earlier this month, with students in Beech Hill College taking part in cycling skills challenges during the past week.

Emile and Caitlyn are the AndSheCycles ambassadors in the school, and they hope other students will make it a habit going forward.
