The Moylagh JFK 50 Mile Challenge is taking place virtually today.
This year's event was all set to take place in Meath this morning however, late last week local Gardaí advised against it stating they would prosecute the committee should the event take place physically.
The aim for this year was to raise 1 million euro for Cancer charities and committee member Gerry McDonnell says they're still hopeful.
