Investigations into a security alert at Wattlebridge are on-going this morning.
The N54 Road, between Clonandra outside Clones and Leggykelly in Cavan was closed yesterday while PSNI Officers carried out examinations of the area for a suspected explosive device.
Reports that a device was left in the Wattlebridge area of Newtownbutler came through on Wednesday evening, however, the road has now re-opened.

The incident came to light after warning calls, claiming to be from the Continuity IRA were made.
With the investigation continuing today members of the public are asked to be vigilant, report any information immediately and not touch any suspicious objects.
