The North Road in Monaghan town is closed after a fallen power line.
The road is closed to traffic, northbound from Lidl to the Coolshannagh Roundabout.
Motorists will be diverted down Glaslough Street, with traffic entering the town from the Coolshannagh Roundabout not affected.

Gardaí are at the scene, and ESB has been notified.
However, there will be delays, with traffic management measures in places.
