A number of elderly people were left 'petrified' following egging incidents in Cavan.
Independent councillor in Mullagh, Shane P O'Reilly, received a number of phone calls over the weekend from pensioners whose homes were attacked with eggs.
Councillor O'Reilly says that while this may seem like 'a bit of fun', those targeted were left terrified by the actions.

The Gardaí have been notified by the families involved and they are appealing for anyone with information to contact Bailieborough Garda Station.
