Number of pastoral changes in Diocese of Clogher take effect today

Bishop Duffy thanked the priests of mid-Monaghan for stepping forward at this critical time when there's a clergy shortage.

A number of pastoral changes in the Diocese of Clogher are taking effect today.

Ten days ago, Bishop Larry Duffy announced the changes in the diocese.

Fr Adrian Walshe, the Parish Priest in Castleblayney and Aughnamullen East will now also act as the Parish Priest in Clontibret.

He's taking over from Fr Paudge McDonnell, who is to retire.

The roles of Curate in Carrickmacross and Curate in Fintona have been swapped between Fr Seán Mulligan and Fr Kevin Connolly.

While Canon Pat McHugh is now the Diocesan Director of the Synodal Pathway.
