Older people in Cavan and the surrounding areas are being asked to participate in a new storytelling project.
In conjunction with Cavan Arts Office critically acclaimed novelist Anthony J Quinn is launching the Lost Landmarks project aimed at the over sixty-fives, especially those experiencing isolation because of the Covid.
The group is looking for older people who have a rich knowledge of the landscape they grew up in, be it of Cavan or further afield.
Contributors will be assisted by Anthony and people will be able to write, record, or document their stories in a variety of ways using a mixture of Zoom online workshops, emails, printed booklets of writing exercises and tips.
