Over €210 million has been spent on PUP payments in Cavan and Monaghan.
Figures released by Social Protection Minister Heather Humphreys show almost 27,000 (26,983) people have received the pandemic unemployment payment in Cavan and Monaghan since it was introduced.
14,000 (14,091) of those are in Cavan and 12,900 (12,892) are in Monaghan.

The data shows that up to May 11th, €112 million had been paid to people in Cavan under the scheme since its introduction.
Another €98.4 million was paid in Monaghan over the same period.
Nationally, over €7.5 billion has been paid to people under the PUP scheme.
