A Palestinian Solidarity March is taking place today in Cavan Town.
The march has been organised by a group of independent activists, who hope to eventually establish a Palestinian Solidarity branch in the county soon.
The march is beginning at 1.30pm this afternoon in the town centre and will last about 45 minutes.

People are advised that all Covid guidelines should be adhered to and respected.
John Reilly, one of the organisers, says that they want to send a message to the Government that their recognition of legal annexation this week is 'not enough':
