A Palestinian Solidarity Protest is taking place today in Cavan Town.
Its organiser, John Reilly, says today's protest aims to maintain awareness about the situations in Palestinian, "despite the motion passed in Dáil last month".
That motion recognised Israel's illegal settlements as a "de facto annexation of Palestinian land".

People are advised that all Covid guidelines should be adhered to and respected.
The event begins at 2pm in the town centre.
A similar event was organised in the town at the end of May.
