Partners to be allowed attend 20 week scans in change to Covid rules

It looks like partners of pregnant women are going to be allowed attend the 20 week scan.

This hasn't been allowed since earlier this year because of concerns about the spread of Covid 19.

But now the HSE is set to allow partners attend the scan following a campaign against the restrictions, according to the Irish Times.

Partners will also be allowed attend any surgical interventions.

Over 50,000 people have signed a petition against the restrictions.
