Permission is being sought to build 19 new houses in Belturbet.
Kieran Maguire Construction has applied to Cavan County Council to develop seven three-bed houses and 12 two-bed homes, all two-storey buildings.
The proposed site will be at Corporation Lands in the west Cavan town.

A decision by the local authority is expected by the end of February.
