Woodburn Farms has been granted planning permission for the construction of
a free-range laying poultry house in Newbliss, Monaghan.
The new free-range poultry unit will be able to accommodate over 25,000
birds.
The development, in Kilnamaddy and Cavanavally, will consist of attached egg
and equipment stores, a manure elevator and detached manure store, together
with all ancillary structures including vertical meal bins and a washings
tank.

The works will also incorporate a new access lane, to include the upgrading
of existing site entrance.
