People have until next week to make submissions on plans for traffic calming in Virignia.
Cavan County Council plans to replace the junction at the N3 and Ballyjamesduff road with a roundabout.
Improvement works will also take place along Main Street from the bridge, past the Ballyjamesduff road junction.

This will see upgraded footpaths, new road surface, car parking, street furniture, undergrounding of overhead lines and new road signage and markings.
Bus stops will also be put in place on both sides of the street at the Court House.
Submissions on the plans can be made until Thursday of next week (August 7th).
