The preferred route for the Virginia by-pass has been revealed.
From the five route options published last November, one that goes just north of the town but stays close to the existing N3, has been selected.
The project, which is aiming to solve congestion issues on the main route to Dublin, was first suggested two decades ago.

Another round of public consultation will now begin and run until September 13th.
