An RTÉ Investigates programme that has obtained confidential documents on the 1972 Belturbet bombing will air tonight on RTÉ One.
On December 28th, 1972, a car bomb in Belturbet killed teenagers Geraldine O'Reilly and Patrick Stanley.
While no one has claimed responsibility for the attack, it's believed the Ulster Volunteer Force was behind the bombing.

On the same day, a bomb exploded in Clones and in Pettigo in County Donegal.
The programme will air at 9.35 tonight, and RTÉ's Frank Shouldice spoke about the confidential documents on this morning's Joe Finnegan Show:
