Some local GAA clubs have taken a financial hit following the cancellation of Drive-in Bingo due to Level 5 restrictions. David Funcheon from Castleblayney

Some local GAA clubs have taken a financial hit following the cancellation of Drive-in Bingo due to Level 5 restrictions.

David Funcheon from Castleblayney Faughs GFC says their club is under-going a significant re-development and the revenue generated through the weekly bingo was hugely beneficial.

He also says that the event was filling a void for people, particularly those who live alone or are isolated, and he hopes that they can recommence in December to help the community through the darker evenings.
