SOSAD to expand services to meet growing needs

SOSAD services are expanding to meet the growing needs of people in the region.

The suicide bereavement charity held a 7km Dawn to Dusk walk last weekend, with a large turnout at 27 different locations across Cavan and Monaghan.

The charity says it used the past year to rethink the services it provides, and tailor them to better suit what people need.

Christine Wynne, co-ordinator with SOSAD in Cavan told Shannonside Northern Sound that the money raised from last week's walk will go towards these new services.
