Gardai are investigating the death of a man in Dublin in the early hours of this morning.
A teenage boy has been arrested and is being held at Kevin Street Garda Station.
At around half one this morning, gardai were called to a laneway off Madison Road in Kilmainham in Dublin 8.

The body of a man in his 40s was discovered.

The body remains at the scene which has preserved for a technical examination and the State Pathologist has been notified.

Gardai are appealing to anyone with information or anyone who was in the Madison Lane area between 11pm and 2am to come forward.
