The tender contracts for the Gate Lodge II have been signed.
The development of the building in Castleblayney is due to start this month and last night the contract was signed with a local company for the works.
Monaghan County Council secured rural regeneration funding for the project and a total of 3 million euro is to be spent on it.

When completed Gate Lodge II will be the new home of the town library as well as a new gallery and public space.
Speaking to Shannonside Northern Sound local councillor Aidan Campbell said he was delighted to see work progressing and so much investment going into Castleblayney:
