Three suppliers from Cavan and Monaghan are being stocked in Lidl stores across Ireland from today as part of the "Kickstart" programme.
The Bord Bia backed initiative helps boost local brands by giving them a limited-time showcase in the chain's 202 stores across the island of Ireland.
This year, Connolly Meats and Rucksnacks from County Monaghan, and Barry John Sausages in Cavan are among the 33 producers involved.

Speaking to Shannonside Northern Sound News, Barry Crowe from Barry John Sausages said its invaluable exposure.
