Met Éireann has issued a thunderstorm warning for parts of the region this afternoon.
It says Cavan, Monaghan and Longford can expect scattered thunderstorms, hail and spot flooding.
The yellow warning is in place from 1 o'clock to 10 o'clock tonight.

It will be in place for the local counties, Donegal and all of Leinster and Munster.
