A thunderstorm warning has been issued for parts of the region.
Met Éireann has issued it for Cavan, Monaghan, Longford and 12 other counties along the east.
It says heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms are likely this afternoon, with a risk of localised flooding.

The yellow warning is in place from 2 o'clock to 10 o'clock tonight.
