The traffic lights on Dawson Street in Monaghan Town are still not in operation this evening.

A technician has been called to rectify the problem, however, there is no timeline for completion yet.

There are signs in place and it is hoped that the problem can be fixed by later this evening, but motorists are asked to take care on approach.
