Two men appeared in Court after the theft of a catalytic converter from a car in Castleblayney last week.
Gardaí had issued an appeal for information after the incident which happened at a car park on McGrath Road last Wednesday.
Three men in a Volkswagen Jetta were believed to be responsible.

Gardaí have now said two men were arrested in Dundalk in relation to the incident. One is aged in his early 30s while the other is in his early 40s.
They were charged and appeared before Monaghan District Court where they were remanded in custody.
