Ulster GAA has been accused of abandoning Clones and St Tiernach's Park.

Yesterday the fixtures for the Ulster Senior Football Championship were revealed, with the Monaghan town not named as the venue for the final.

The venue for the November 22nd decider will be decided at a future Ulster CCC meeting, but St Tiernach's isn't being considered because it doesn't have floodlights.

There are concerns this decision could be part of an effort to move the Ulster Final away on a permanent basis, after years of under-funding.

Local businessman Ciarán Morgan said its disappointing St Tiernach's isn't fitted out to the required standard.
