Met Éireann says heavy rain can be expected in parts of the region today.
A status yellow rainfall warning is in place for Cavan, Connacht, Donegal, Clare and Kerry.
The forecaster says heavy rain this evening and into tomorrow may cause some river and localised flooding. The warning is in place until 2pm on Tuesday.
