A west Cavan school has been granted funding for new classrooms.
Scoil Naomh Brid in Ballyconnell is set to benefit from two general classrooms with en-suite toilets.
Minister Norma Foley and the Department of Education has also approved aid towards the development of a Special Educational Needs Base.

The news, which falls under the Additional Accommodation Scheme, has been welcomed by local representatives in the area.
Local Councillor Peter McVitty says the school is very deserving.
