A woman has died in a road crash in Cavan.
The woman was killed in the crash at Monelty, Stradone shortly after 10am.
Gardaí have launched an investigation into the single vehicle crash.

The woman, who's in her early 80s, was the sole occupant of the car.
She was pronounced dead at the scene and her body has been removed to Cavan General Hospital.
A post mortem examination is expected to take place.

The road is closed as Garda forensic collision investigators carry out their work.
