Work on a new cycleway in Rossmore Park is to be completed this autumn.
Monaghan County Council is developing the route in partnership with Cycling Ireland and Emyvale Cycling Club.
The 2.5km project was first announced early last year and is being funded through the Outdoor Recreational Infrastructure Scheme.

A preferred route has been identified, with a tender due to be published in the coming months.
The local authority intends that the construction and completion of the cycle path will be completed in Q3 of 2021.
