Work is progressing on a new Civil Defence Headquarters in Cavan.
Preliminary contracts have been signed to purchase a building in the Pullamore Business Park in Cavan town.
Work has been ongoing for a number of years to locate a suitable premises for the Civil Defence in the county.

It's currently based at the fire station in Drumnavanagh.
