It's more than a year since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, and a Monaghan hand-weaver has developed a new gift to bring people together during these difficult times.
The Monaghan Misses Ewe campaign, by Liz Christy of Swallow Studios in Annayalla, helps customers send a virtual hug to everyone with Monaghan connections around the globe.
The "hug" will take the form of a blue and white rambling sheep in the county colours, beginning with the strong Irish diaspora Down Under.
